'Go' video is based on one of our songs (also: Go ) from Conversation Station downloadable 3.
This song teaches common vocabulary of the words “go,” “stop,” and the things a child could ride. This song repeats the word “go” 112 times. It also gives children a chance to practice imitating the words of the song before they are sung. The phrase, “Ready, set, go,” is frequently produced.
1. This song especially exaggerates the word “stop,” to give children an auditory understanding of the word.
2. Use this song and have your child move in a circle, varying the motion depending on the object the child is pretending to ride.
3. The chorus can be used to teach the sign for “go,” which you can do by pointing your index fingers forward and gesturing in a downward motion. You can also teach the sign for “stop” using this song. These signs often verbally entice children to say the word.
