Effective distance learning using AAC app with Michelle Sauer, a pediatric speech-language pathologist
in collaboration with Kids Can Talk, LLC, a company dedicated to improving children speech and language.

Benefits:
1) Children can learn to express their wants and needs and engage socially and academically. In this example, Michelle shows a way to teach navigation from folder to folder to find icons and build basic sentences to request, comment, and describe.
2) Children can learn from the convenience of their own home.
3) Parents can sit with their child during the session to learn how to use the chosen AAC app along with their child promoting increased home implementation and subsequent learning and communicative success for the child.
4) Therapists can record sessions on Zoom and share them with the family providing a guide for practice between therapy sessions.
